The Content platform is a complete online e-Learning ecosystem. Students purchase access to courses, which are complete with interactive curriculum, assignments, testing, message boards, and gradebooks.

This project was originally written in coldfusion which was contracted to an outside vendor to be rewritten to PHP. After 5 years it was decided to bring the project development inhouse, when I joined the team, for extensive code refactoring, bug fixes, feature completion, functionality enhancements, and WCAG accessibility.

At the time of project completion there were over 750,000 users and 5,000 courses complete with content and gradebooks that needed to be migrated to the new platform and code base. A full data migration was performed through the use of custom migration scripts.

The Content project is elasticly deployed to AWS, EC2, RDS, Elasticache, EFS
